ACOFAE Podcast Presents: Center Stage: "Peter, Jonathan, Sandy."
ACOFAE finally covers one of their beloved movies, Center Stage. Set in Jessica Marie's favorite place, New York City, and centering around Jessica Marie's passion, dance, Center Stage is as nostalgic as it is delightful. One of those movies that has that, "this was made for me" quality, Center Stage is the story of an aspiring ballerina with bad feet and her journey through the best ballet school in the world. Full of found family, ballet class montages, indoor smoking, and Peter Gallagher's eyebrows, Center Stage even has an "is this fucking play about us?" moment. You may remember the iconic red dance number, or Mandy Moore's songs on the soundtrack, but did you know it's the debut of Zoe Saldana!? A movie for the ages truly.
